Global Dialogue Series: Global development in an age of political disruption

Tue, 21 Mar, 2017 13:45 - 15:15

What does it mean to be a global university in an age of global political disruption?

Panel discussion in front of an audience

As events like Brexit and Trump signal a retreat from globalisation, why is it important to maintain a global outlook and focus?

How do we remain inclusive in a time of increasingly uncertain and conflicted debates and remain open to freedom of speech?

This event is part of the 2017 Global Dialogue Series and will explore how these recent political rhetoric and rising cultural forces may impact our global engagement work at RMIT. This event will be chaired by Professor Andrew MacIntyre, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Global Development.
